Football Scoop reporting Brett Bielema possible for Michigan

Football scoop is reporting Arkansas A.D. Jeff Long could be the new A.D. at Michigan and he might bring Brett Bielema to coach after Brandon and Hoke are gone. I don't know about the credibility of the source but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I could maybe buy BB coming to Michigan, but I don't think of Arkansas as a powerhouse athletic department, so I'm not sure why UM would want Jeff Long. With that said, I know a lot more than just being good at football and basketball goes into being an AD, so maybe he is a great fundraiser or something like that.

I think Bielema is a good coach and I would take him in a second over Ferentz, but man can you sell a coach who may be 0-16 or 1-15 in two years in the SEC to Michigan's fan base? Arkansas is better than every B10 team but MSU and OSU but they have a brutal schedule this year.

Tough call. The guy did have 3 championships in the B1G but you're right. His SEC record will look brutal after this year is done.

I think their first call is Jim Harbaugh and pray the 49ers are clueless enough not to lock him up. Second call is to Les Miles and third is Bob Stoops.

They may call Bob Stoops but I can't picture him in Michigan. It's possible he could go to Florida after this year but I think he's a lifer at Oklahoma.

I dont know, two losses for an OU team that was ranked in the top 5 and a close win with a poor offensive and defensive performance against Texas. I havent looked but I wonder if the sooner faithful are grumbling.

If OU losses another regular season loss and a bowl loss for 4 total losses that cant set too well after handling Alabama last year.

Yeah, this years not panning out out like expected. I wish we could those kind of down years. I've always wanted him at Iowa so maybe I'm wearing blinders but his body of work is impressive but there will be some heat. Maybe the Sooner faithful need to be reminded of the program before Stoops came.

Everybody knows coaches should only stay at a school for 10yrs... tops!! Its time for Stoops to leave OU.
