Follow your shots, our players dont, they coached that way

Man I have seen many times this year and a bunch tonite where are shooters never follow their shots and instead drift toward the defensive end.

That is JR high an Y league basketball 101.

All of a sudden the fundamentals are leaving this team, not protecting their dribble and the ball, not getting back on Dee,

You don't follow your shot many times (except if you are on the wing) because of the transition D you are supposed to play.

It is a system you coach. Some coaches have 2 crash the offensive glass, some 3, some more or less. Certain players are usually designated as get back defenders. All depends on the coach system.
