I don't mean for this to sound like I don't like our military because that is just the opposite.
These sorts of things have specific guidelines for specific reasons. These guys had specific orders. They felt like disobeying the orders they had, at least that is what it sounds like. Don't you want our armed forces to be disciplined in their actions and able to follow simple orders without letting their emotions into the mix? That would be how our military would function best, I would think.
While it might sound trivial, I would say that I hope they get whatever the military feels is deserved. If they face a punishment, I would not have a problem with it, although I would find it unfortunate. But in reality, they had a simple job to do and they blew it. That's what really happened here, if they went under their ordered limit.
