Fitz will never be great

Sure he has a lot of fire and a great motivator, but makes some really dumb coaching decisions. He's still a "fan" and not a coach. I HATE how after every interview he ends with "Go Cats"... And on fourth and 3, up by 25 just across midfield, you GO FOR IT?? Punt the ball away, try to pin us inside the ten.

People give Ferentz crap for not making decisions like that, but guess what, it's smarter to punt. Iowa scores and gains some momentum.. Looks like now it won't matter, since NW is marching again, but still..

All things considered he's probably one of the top 10 coaches in the country. Maybe even higher.

I also doubt his offense has ever been flagged for a delay of game in a 2 minute drill or 3 times in any game period.

Listening to Galloway was pretty funny today. He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
