I'm reminded of a Churchill utterance, "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few." While college football isn't on the level of a war it still comes down to sacrifice, perseverance, and preparation. This team and their coaches willed their way to 10 and 2. Through all the doubters and critics they put on their uniforms every Saturday and Friday, taking on every opponent's best effort. As fans we need to recognize their achievement over the odds thrown at them. Count me among the many that owe so much to so few for the joy they provided the past 13 weeks.
