Its just me and my girlfriend going to the game tomorrow. Its my first time to Iowa City. I dont know anyone. Where is a friendly place to tailgate and have a couple of cold ones? Can you just go up to peoples tailgate?

Finkbine golf course and finkbine commuter are the two main general admission lots to tailgate in. $15.00 to park. Otherwise drive down Melrose and find a private spot on somebodys front yard, but the closer you get to kinnick, the prices raise exponentially.
