It was February 5th, 1909 won by Iowa 30-27.
Glad I could help. I'm not sure of the coaches, but by the looks of the score I would say it was Lickliter and McDermott.

I was actually looking for the location of the first game after the series resumed. We have a photo of a game against ISU running with my Field House story as the main photo, but we wanted to know what year it was. We knew it was either '77 or '78, but I didn't realize the series resumed in basketball in '70.
It was '78 (we found the schedule on ISU's site and the recap in the DI archives).
