I have tried to be patient and supportive of Greg Davis, but he has shown he is the worst offensive coordinator in football. All levels of football. I know pee wee football coaches who could prepare a better game plan and call better plays. ISU can't defend the run, but we continue to call pass play after pass play with the lead and play our worst running back most of the game. Ferentz better fire Davis now or I am done for the season and beyond until Barta fires Kirk.

You are correct but every play call goes through Kirk's headset and he has final say. Kirk has even acknowledged it.

Nothing will change until KF takes his paws off the offense. Need a guy with complete automony stay out the way and let him run it.

I will guarantee that Kirk doesn't put his seal of approval on every play. He will only nix a play if he thinks it is really bad. He is way too loyal to his assistant coaches and puts too much faith in them.

You're right, but damn it was funny. Loved the camera shot of him afterward! Classic, "I got to take a big **** but there isn't a toilet in sight" look. That alone was worth the loss.
