That's what I really wanted to know. I'm hoping they're just giving Kennedy some time to find another gig before announcing that he's no longer a coach with Iowa.

I wonder if Chris mis understood his source and they aren't on a one year trial for getting fired, but they're on one to see how big the next extension will be.

He seemed so mentally stable, I can't imagine him misunderstanding something. But I guess anything is possible.

We're gonna have to lock him up in the off-season. Sure his offense ranked worse than Greg Davis'. But last I checked everyone on Hawkboards considered GD elite among DA coaches.

It's the same.. always has been the same.. regardless of who the OC is

Oh, i think folks know that. but fire brian = fire kirk. it just makes you feel better to say it.

Literally nothing changed with this hire. Offense still frustrating to watch. Kirk allows the offense off the leash once/twice a year just to get the heat off.

I don't see any changes for next year either. We really need to build some OL depth though, a strong OL can hide a lot of other issues

I think there were times this year where the play calling was magnificent and then there were times Ferentz thought it was a different sport. My hope is that he develops consistency through experience. Split personality this year, hopefully the good personality wins long term.
