Final three game record?

Two bowl eligible teams in Minnesota and Illinois and Nebraska bowl game at home. I feel maybe 1 or 2 wins and then a no name bowl. What do people think?

Minnesota breaks our spirits next week.

We won’t be ready to go and will come out
sluggish against a hot Illinois team. Iowa gets punched in the mouth and folds.

Nothing left to play for against Nebraska. Frost will coach to save face for next year and we look terrible on the road.
 
I am going with 3-0 even with some offensive woes. Two games in kinnick help us, Nebby isnt very good and the best part is their defense is the worse part.

Iowa needs to no huddle a lot more, use Toren Young some more with Goodson, Tracy and ISM with more deep balls, deep posts.

Where has that deep post been this year where we have an underneath post suck in the safety. Beautiful and that is the essence of the passing game in the prostyle I formation

apparently, brian has been hiding that play for a strategic point of a road loss

Iowa's got enough there for the last three. Assuming they have not thrown in the towel. I still think Minny is a paper tiger. (I don't think PSU is all that, but I will give Minny some respect for beating them).

But it really does not matter if Iowa goes 6-6 or 9-3 as it is going to feel hallow all the same. Ok, for pride of the program it does, but it is tough to be out of the race with 3 games left.

Yeah, you know the saying negotiate the safety, well they had a receiver cobble up that safety and I am not even sure why Wisky was in what looked like single safety deep with only an 8 pt lead
 
All 3 games will be tough but the hawks can do it.

First thing I hope they mess up Minny's undefeated season. The players should be really up for next week. Second thing keep the streak over Illini alive and third, screw up Nebby's chances for a bowll

Not sure what Minnesota team you watched but I saw solid QB play, big athletic receivers and a huge offensive line that controlled the line of scrimmage most of the day. The defense made some nice plays as well. Hawks will have to get out of the conservative mode to beat them I think. Also we go 2-1 and beat Nebby
 
MN is a team of destiny this year, as Iowa was in 2015 (both with a soft crossover schedule). That said, Penn St. moved the ball both on the ground and through the air, and I can envision Goodson having a good day. After today, tho, not impressed with Parker's Plan: Illinois and Ohio St. both showed how to stop #23, and Iowa didn't repeat any of it at the LOS. The MN-Iowa game will come down to who out-coaches who. We shall see. The Hawks are a bad matchup for Illinois and I think the Hawks take that one. The Huskers will likely be playing for a bowl game, but I think Iowa is just the better team. I'm predicting 2-1.
