Uh, Brazil, it's not like you haven't had like a million years (actually, seven) to get ready for this. The venue opens in three days with a big match between England and Italy. The U.S. plays on the pitch in a couple weeks.

I thought this was a better theme song for the opening of the World Cup, a prayer to the syncreticized trickster god of West Africa, slow and brooding, difficult. When the best laid plans turn into total chaos, its usually because of Exu and failing to give him his offerings. Exu is also the god of roads, so clearly this is a reference to the delayed infrastructure projects and transportation issues of the World Cup.
