FGCU Coach pursued by USC and Minnesota...*

I would take a really close look at that institution before I went there. The way that team is put together is suspicious.

I would be more inclined to go after WSUs coach. That guy has built a program with people paying attention.

Agree with every word.

I wouldn't consider hiring the FGCU coach...right now. There's nothing to suggest he is anything more than a 1 hit wonder. If he does it again (like Smart and Stevens) then I will start to consider how good he might be...hasn't proven anything to me yet.

I feel like this is a completely different situation than those 2. I mean Butler had an outstanding history before Stevens took over, its not like he reinvented the wheel. Yes he took them further but...

I would seriously consider Enfield if I had an opening. I have yet to see anything that says "this guy is a cheater" and what he has done in 2 years is amazing not even counting the tournament run.

the longer this drags on for MN, the more the look like this

Any links to prove that FGCU is sketchy? Or is it just your opinion? Sure, he might be a one-hit wonder, but I need something more than being a glass slipper team to consider them sketchy.

just some unsubstantiated stuff floating around the southeast

at a major program, might be a violation waiting to happen

wait and see

I didn't see anything either. I did read where he "sold" his moderate investment (share) in the company before it quadrupled after 2006. So his share of 100 million is substantially smaller than what his share would be now of 400 million.

I'm googling it & not finding much - can anyone send me some dirt on them? Curious as to what this might be...
