We talk about the Ferrari design in one of my math classes. It is designed (among other car models) using the golden rectangle/ratio, which, as we all know, is (1 + sqrt 5)/ 2. It dates back to the 4000's BC. The pyramids were designed using the golden rectangle/triangle/ratio, along with Solomon's Temple, the Mona Lisa, the Last Supper, the Vetruvian Man, and many other places in art, design, nature, the human body, and so many other places where aesthetics are important.
