It has just worn so many of us down as fans, and there appears to be no light at the end of the tunnel thanks to our AD. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to see if a Ferentz Fatigue medication exists.

Gotta execute better. Seriously though, I’d just like to hear he or a player say this is unacceptable, be pissed off, fn anything!!! All we get is ho hum, lack of execution, lack of communication, learn from the film, blah blah blah. You just lost at home to fn Purdue!!

I turn 61 next week and spent many years in the Navy so those experimental college days seem a long ways back in the rear view mirror. I just get really bored and watch hoping that things will seem different but things never change which I should know at my age. I live deep in the heart of SEC country so had my one shining moment wearing my Iowa gear after we beat Ohio State but those special moments seem few and far between.

If Iowa football was a car it would be your dad's sedan. It was dependable, didn't break down much with proper maintenance, and got decent mileage. Now it's spending more time in the shop than on the road and you catch yourself looking at the newer models wistfully. Winning 6 games let's see. Two gimme's out of the gate. A good win at state and eke out a win at home against Minny and Illinois, blow out the East champion. A mixed bag here for sure.
I never thought I would hear Iowa players saying "They wanted it more".
Was at work all day and have no desire to watch the replay. Never felt so numb about Iowa football before. Don't really know if I want to watch this team again this year.
It's basketball season and Iowa has some fun players to watch and a coach that WANTS to be an elite program. If only that were the goal in football.

Yesterday was my kiddos first birthday party so I missed the turdburger against Purdump. Sounds like it was awful. Best thing to do is just not watch, I had a great day yesterday.
