Been around league, thoughts on Denard Robinson buzz

Anytime you put up those numbers its positive attention for the leauge...what he has done has been remarkable. I have not seen Michigan on film but the first thought I had was preparing for Randle El. He was a very dynamic player. It looks like he is off to that start with more statistics.

How eval Clayborn season to this stage:

I think he is playing well.

How big for him last year game vs PSU what did that do for him

He had a tremendous outing and the play he made was like Holloway catching the ball in the Cap One...a great effort on his part...high effort and athletic. Those are kodak moments but what he does each down makes him an outstanding players.

Double teams this year, how has that been helped otehrs like Mike Daniels

That is part of football. Good players attract attention. You have to game plan for certain players. That is part of being a good player and he is dealing with it well.

Royster slow start, big game last week what you see from him

He is a tremendous football player and outstanding running back. I dont know how close he is to break their all time record...seems like we have seen him six straight years. He will break that record which is a big deal...great caliber of player. Can do a lot well. You have to start with him when you are playing them.

How strong does this league look right now?

I am ruining the party here...we dont know much about anything. Played four games. Not October yet. I know everyone wants to know how strong it is and who does what...we will know more in a month. So much can happen all over the place. I dont think too globally. I think we have a good league. I have felt that way for 12 years.

What did you see from Penn State after rally v Temple

I think they have a pretty good team, that simple. I grew up in that part of the country, and over the last five years they won 51 games, a record setting running back and a defense that has allowed 12 points per game on average the last two years. The team we play Saturday is going to bring it.

You said your job that Arizona loss can fuel reset of year, did you see that

We played better Saturday than week before. You measure teams over a season, not one week What we did last week was fine, but we have 8 tough league games coming up. If we win this week that is great, if not not good...but have to play the next seven. Simple as that. We can improve, doing some good. Every coach feels the same way

How important in your system playmaker like DJK

Unless you run it each snap, it's good to have good receivers. It's hard to do just one thing. If you run it, you better have someone that can help you on the outside. It's hard to take it and run it each snap. Unless you are an option team.

Run game, you will play some run heavy teams...status of run defense and how good

We will learn more as we go. Have not faced anyone committed to running the ball. We dont see much of that during 12 games. We will find out this week against Royster. We had better be ready to go. very dangerous, good players around us. More challenges to come down the line.
