Bad weather again which will affect the crowd size. You get a home court game and expect that to be a big advantage...and then the weather hits.
As long as the players show up we'll be fine. And the rowdy home court advantage fans will find a way to get there. Get the right 7,000 people in there and it should be a great home court advantage.
Could be a good thing for them, we have such a miserable, negative fan base that maybe them not being there will be a blessing.

Hopefully the players play hard and with passion...even with low attendance.
Good new is.....only the die-hards will probably show up, which should make for a more fired-up crowd.

Illini going to show up no matter what.
Then there is the scenario that helps you. Weather hits, roof collapses and then you have to reschedule the game until after the time that they are spiraling out of control and you get a win that you shouldn't of. I've seen it before.
A few years ago against Mich St. there was a game occurring during an ice storm, and they announced that fans were welcome to move down closer to the court to sit in empty seats. Hopefully, if the crowd is light tonight they allow fans to move down and pack the area around the court to give a little more vocal home court advantage. Plus it looks bad on TV when you have a lot of empty seats in the lower rows.
Roger that. I'll be there looking forward to snaking a seat behind Groce. Get him fired up. Hopefully he wears that bright orange sport coat.This. If you only admit the enthusiastic 7,000 and they get to sit close to the court...that's all the rowdy you're gonna need. Loud and enthusiastic is great, but not real helpful up in row 60.
For some reason I want to think earlier that day that they also made tickets either free or only like $5 to try to get as many people there as possible. I could be wrong on that part though.
I took off early this morning, to make a 9 hour trip across Colorado over two mountain passes, 2/3rds of the trip snowing. Just to make it back by game time to watch on TV. I think ya'll can drive 2 hrs or less in the snow to watch in person...
