Fant is #14 in this Mock Draft

Yeah I know, mock drafts are like, well you know, everyone has one.

I have been following the 49'ers a bit because of our distinguished alumi. This guy quotes Kiper a lot.

He also guesses Butler at #45 and Montgomery at #47.

And he has Kris Boyd from Texas like at #37. Ouch. He might want to reconsider after his performance yesterday.

No Hock? Is it because he hasn't declared?

I think if he gets anything below a 2nd round grade he should come back. He's got the measurables AND the intangibles, and teams are seeing what Iowa TEs bring with Kittle, and soon to be Fant.

I know I've said it a lot, but I think if he stays another year, he'll be the number 1 TE in next year's draft.

I too think he returns and he should be a first rounder.

Then again with awards piling up, who knows? Maybe not much left to prove?

I think it is clear to most this guy is NFL ready. Maybe just depends if he has team goals etc...??

I heard an unsubstantiated rumor that he'll leave if he wins the Mackey, but the award doesn't really raise his stock or open draft slots, so we'll see.
