Always fun to review posts on the Cyclone Fanatic. Predictable, but fun. The popular thought over there
is that MSU was over rated. Yup. Wins over Kansas, Louisville. Providence and Florida would certainly indicate such. Here is the reality: The Big 12, as always, is a paper Tiger. The conference tanks in the NCAA tourney, virtually every year. The Big 10 has far surpassed the Big 12 in Tourney performance for the past 20 years and it is not even close.
ISU has one good win so far this season and that was the flukey, one point, Iowa choke job in Ames. Has to be a tough time for Cyclones with Iowa near the top of the heap in Football, basketball, and wrestling.

Little bro is jelly. They think they are what Iowa is. Fact is, "The Booing McRonald's" are all ******** their drawers at this very moment because they know their team is about one loss away from a complete implosion and that play-in game that awaits them. Can't wait.

The B1G has been better in the NCAA tournament than the B12 the last 20 years, but that has little to do with this year. Kansas, Oklahoma and West Virginia are all very good, and there's no reason to say otherwise. Iowa State can be good, but aren't playing all that well recently. College hoops is very even this year, I don't see a team out there as good as the Wisconsin team last year. Teams in the Top 40 or 50 have a legitimate chance to beat anyone else in that group. It makes for a very interesting season.

I will agree that the Cyclone fans represented on Cy Fanatic seem ready to throw themselves off bridges given Iowa's success in football and basketball this year.

West Virginia has played 2 decent teams, both at home. A good win against Kansas and were pounded by Virginia. Jury still out on them. Oklahoma is good, probably better than Kansas. Conferences are judged by how they do in the NCAA tourney. We shall see.
