The above link is his personal blog. Folks should jump on board and educate him more on what Iowa offers academically.

Given what he's written, it certainly does not appear that Iowa has too great of a shot with him at the current juncture.

Some of the comments on his post reek of potentially minor secondary violations. I think I'll pass. He does seem like a pretty solid kid, and he's a good writer for 17 years old. Unrefined, but intelligent.

Sure ... but some people are idiots.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with an Iowa fan educating him more about Iowa. For instance, illustrating Iowa's great educational record with our student-athletes. Furthermore, showing how the coaches encourage the players to follow their academic dreams ... even if those dreams might come in conflict some with their football aspirations.

There are so many great things that Iowa fans could educate him about our great program. AND, to my limited knowledge on the issue, provided info on Iowa wouldn't necessarily constitute any sort of violation.

I read in an interview that he wanted to be involved in the big city life, obviously not happening in IC.

Tell him to come to Iowa, bust his a$$ for 3 or 4 years and get drafted into the NFL...unless Green Bay nabbed him, he'd have all of the "big city life" he could ever want...:D
