Yeah fly over country is just that to them. Geography isn't something that's focused on too much. That said if Iowa gets to beating not just the OSUs and Michigans of the world once in awhile but the Wisconsins and Purdues and everyone inbetween that'll put us the map.

I almost responded something about Wirfs. Then I realized what was up.

You get the impression from looking at this kid attitude wise...and he's not going to sit when he gets here. You could still have Jackson and Wirfs at tackle...unless they go pro as Juniors...which isn't a bad thing...since that means they were dominant. This kid will step on campus with size, skill, and a serious mean streak. Pretty impressive get this early in the class. Once again...these early signings are kids Iowa wants and at the top of their target list. I honestly feel the recruiting has picked up over the past three years. Now...hopefully this is the year it shows up fully on the field.
