I am trying to keep my excitement in check for this defense. But, Iowa returns nearly all of its starters and depth in the front 7, from a defense that was pretty salty last year. We have the reigning best CB in the conference returning along with good experience and some great looking prospects in the secondary. If Parker can figure out a way to generate consistent pressure on the QB, this defense could be a Top 10 defense nationally.
The offense can't get any worse, right? Gotta be at least a little bit better, right?
The schedule is tougher this year, but I think the team will be better too.
