ESPN staff release their preseason rankings

Ivan Maisel, ESPN.com senior writer lists Iowa as #2 in his preseason rankings. Some as low as #14, but most between 6-9th which is about right.

I know they mean nothing but I find it just insane that one person can rank Iowa #2 and another can rank them #14. Just stupid on all accounts!

Shocking that it was Feldman and Forde who ranked the Hawks 13 and 14. I think they do it just to rile us up so they actually have some emails to respond to.

I don't agree that Boise State is #1, but he makes a good argument for them in his article from last January.
