I agree with the writer of the article here. Not too many "easy" games; plenty of teams that could/do give us ulcers.

"but the Hawkeyes also aren't loaded enough to just breeze right through the year to a crown either. Both inside and outside of the Big Ten, Iowa is likely going to be playing numerous tight, competitive games that could simply come down to which way a ball bounces."
 




The good news is that if you look at what comes back on offense, you have to think against all the non-elite defenses, we will score more than last year's team. That gives the defense some breathing room and will allow them to grow a bit in those first 6 games. If the offensive line is healthy...they will be the difference in what could be a 6-0 start. I just think we will be a much better team offensively and keep the defense off the field, unlike last year, where the defense played a ton of snaps, especially against the good teams we faced. I don't see that being talked about a lot, but if your defense is only playing 55-60 snaps...it makes a huge difference.
