I wish there was a way to quantify recruiting classes without the one-and-done players. I know teams like Kentucky and UNC will simply replace one-and-done players with other one-and-done players, so this maybe a moot point but it would be interesting to see how teams do with getting potential four-year players. I would think Iowa would move up much higher in this aspect as all of our recruits will most likely be four-year players (or at least not one and done to the NBA). Obviously, it's probably impossible to measure this in any accurate fashion.
On a related note, there is a small chance the NBA changes this rule if the owners and players ever come to an agreement. I'm guessing it will remain the same as a compromise but the owners have generally been in favor of making it a two-year out of high school rule and the players have generally been in favor of abolishing it. However, if one of the sides uses it as a concession for another aspect of a new CBA it could very well change. A change either way is probably better for college basketball IMO, so I'm hoping it gets changed.
