McGary to Micigan and Iowa drops to 19th best class, kinda glad Michigan got this kid, the stronger the conference the better, not to Mention ONC didn't get him as their fans are some of the biggest ****** bags around, as there were a pair of them hanging around HI til Woody committed to Iowa, my guess is they werewaiting for him to commit to UNC and then rub Iowa fans noses in their superiorty

I'd rather have the conference be weaker for the time being. Makes it easier to gain momentum.

the stronger the Conference, the more teams get in and the better the seeding, and i am tired of people on the outside saying the only reason Iowa gets in is because of a weak conference, and the stronger the conference the more impressive it will make this staff look, and will lead to better recruits

or, the more Iowa will get owned in conference.

Iowa would have to win 8+ games in the big ten this year to get in the post season with how weak the non conference schedule is. unfortunately Iowa does not play Nebraska 8 times... right now you have a bunch of guys returning from a 20 loss team and some unproven talent. I think you want your conference games to be as easy as possible for this year.

Our weak conference plays 18 conference games, not 16

Which would be relevant if we were actually contenders to make the Dance. You really do stoop to new lows in terms of intelligence with each post.

why because i expect the conference to improve as a whole, and are you that desperate to think Fran can't compete, after this group of Seniors graduate this roster will have lost most of Licks recruits and most of the starters will be Frans recruits, rather than calling me names, start having Confidence in this new staff to get the job done, rather than looking at it as a bunch of self pitying losers that you are

Where did I say he won't get it done? I said a weaker conference (for the time being) makes his job easier, and we can get back in business even sooner.

If you seriously expect the Hawks to make the Dance this year, you're nuts. So I really don't care if the conference is strong, because how the conference gets seeded in the Dance has ZERO impact on the Hawks right now.

then what does future recruiting have to do with how this years team does, and we shall have our own expectation as to the success this years team has, you feel like they will be a bunch of losers, i expect them to be winners, at the end of the season we shall see who was right, you and your losers mentality, or mine and my winners mentality

When we have a program that is in this position, I'd rather win 15-20 games in a weaker Big Ten than lose 20 in a loaded Big Ten. Which do you think recruits would prefer to see?

If we made the Dance this year, great. But I really can't say I'd give a rat's a** about seeding at this point, since we haven't sniffed the tourney since '06. I'd take a bid any way we can get it for now.

BTW, the above quote is little more than incoherent babel. You're true to form.

I saw no periods or question marks or anything in any of those posts to indicate where one sentence begins and ends. It's just a string of commas and is incredibly hard to read.

Anyways, when you haven't won a conference is 30 years or so or made the tournament in 5 years, easier is better in my opinion.

McGrary is a huge get for Beilein. Now, Iowa only will play them once in his frosh year(good) and he might be a one and done type of player. He is a fricking stud,I know that from seeing him in an allstar game at Venice Beach this summer where he literally tore the rim off the basket. They had to stop the game.

If Iowa only has to face him once, that will be fine by me.
Right now, I want the conference to be beatable for our fledging program, but it just aint gonna happen, with 5 top 19 recruiting classes in 2012. Fran is going to have to follow up 2012 with a couple of top 50 type recruits in 2013 with our two schollys.
Jok and Agau would be good,or do better if possible.
I am very surprised by Beilein's recruiting....he seems bland as can be, and Crysler is a crappy facility, but I guess the allure of the fab five continues to resonate. This league is gonna be a ***** with Matta,Beilein,Crean,Izzo,Weber,Painter, and Ryan all recruiting their butts off. Fran is probably 8th at best,if he is ahead of Tubby. The new PSU coach is supposed to be a decent recruiter also, with Sadler and Carmody no slouches....damnnn.

Dragon hasn't completed freshman English yet. Be easy on the young grasshopper.

I'd feel sorry for you if I believed you.

I'm sorry for your condition, but the period key is right next to the comma key. If you just move your good hand over one inch to the right, then you've got it!

The guy has been posting in other threads inquiring about handicap parking for the game on Sunday. Honestly there is no need to be a jack a$$ to anyone as we all have different opinions but making fun of a handicap guy that had a stroke takes the cake.

1. I never saw his handicap parking thread, and didn't know about his condition.
2. We make fun of posters for lack of typing skills all the time. I had no reason to suspect there were special circumstances.
3. The guy has a history of having rather foolish takes.
