Everyone likes to make it sound like they're breaking it...for example: ESPN will even run "Breaking News" or "Developing Story" on the bottom line 12 hours after a story breaks, with nothing new to report just to feel good about themselves.

yahoo sports posted the player's name about 40 minutes ago; their stringer on the scene talked to one of the cops and the cop confirmed it

not exactly a "spoiler", y'all

ESPN reporting he shot his girlfriend in front of their 3 year old daughter. I don't care how mentally ill he was, burn in hell.
