None of this is new to any of us but it's fun to see. I have such a soft spot for small town Iowa kids that make good. Especially ones like him. Single mom that struggled early on but just kept working her butt off. It's easy to root for them. Can't wait to hear his name called.

Good article. Not sure he'll ever be "mean", I recall one of the Hawkeye football videos where Brian was getting after him for being too nice, but if he can plant the guy on the other side of the line all day long, it doesn't really matter. In fact, it can be more emasculating to get the shit kicked out of you, and the shit kicker helping you to your feet.

Wirfs should be first tackle taken, has the most upside.

BTW, I just saw a mock draft on CBSsportsline that had Ojemoudia going mid second round. He raised his stock big time at the combine.

Yes he should be first Olineman taken period. If team has a need at guard or tackle either side of the line he should be who you want. He's shown he's versatile. If you have an aging tackle that might have only a yr or two left take him and plug him at guard and groom him for that. If any Olineman is taken before him they'd have made a mistake. I just hope he goes to a good fit.

I kinda feel bad for Scherff out there in DC getting franchise tagged... I would have to think he'd have liked to test the open market.
