Cheap shot; largely ignores how Fran has been able to turn around the program following the Alford/Listlessliter debacles. If there's a saving grace, it is the third week of August, when many people are on vacation, or working longer hours to cover for others who are, or busy sending kids to school and largely ignorant of this sort of stuff. Lots of college and professional football to be played between now and the start of the college hoops season. Who'll care by then? In fact, who cares now?

Eammon Brennan wrote the article and is always very pro-Iowa.

The game against Pierce had nothing to do with the job Fran is doing.
 


Pierre should be dead to the Iowa fans. Don't give the devil his due......

We have entered an entirely new era and the past is over. I like Eammon and his loyalty and attitude toward the Hawks. He is a very good writer and we need people like him......
