Enough of the Embarrassment

Coach Fran is not the embarrassment to Iowa basketball. The last 6 years of Iowa basketball is the embarrassment to Iowa basketball.

With that said it will get better. I have faith in Fran to get it done. I like him, and I love that he's very passionate about getting Iowa back. Remember people it is his 2nd year!

I think we are experiencing a let-down/backlash of over expectations of the band wagon fans.

Also does anyone know if the tape from last nights game can be sent anywhere for review? I would be interested to see what would come back from that. If it came back as a well called game, then I would end my gripe about that.

i think the problem is his lack of passion and or enthusiasm. too stoic. if he was more passionate, the players would relate and try harder.....

yes I see your point...you might be on to something. Hmmm maybe they should get less fired up for games in football as well!

I agree that we are on the right track but next year might be a little rough too. With the influx of talent and size we still lose an experienced and decent PG and a solid experienced SG.

Things will get better. I actually thought this team played well enough last night to be in it at the end even without a true pg.

I think next year Iowa will be a better team even losing Gatens and Carwright.

I agree they should still improve but until these 5 new comers get a full season under their belt there will be times we will miss the experience.
