Eno Benjamin for Heisman

I've seen a couple of articles recently stating that former Iowa verbal Eno Benjamin will likely be a leading Heisman candidate next year at Arizona St. He rushed for a school single season record 1652 yards this last year.

I know there are coulda, woulda, shoulda's but I do wonder at times what our team would've been like this last year if he'd been in our backfield. He has that burst that our three sophomore RBs didn't have last year and likely won't have next year.

When I heard about Justin Jacobs being allowed to take the official visit to Ohio St I thought back to Eno and wondered if that played a part in KF's change of heart?

Articles written by nationally respected authors? Or puff pieces from Arizona State advocates? Links?

C'mon dude get that out of here. His team would have to be way up in national rankings and no way unless Bama QB gets hurt is he not the Heisman front runner or the dude from Clemson by a million gazillion miles!!!

Someone let me know when the Pac 12 decides to be a real conference again please. Maybe Cheat Carroll can return and bring one of the teams back to relevance.

I think Eno could be in the discussion, but he's going to have to play out of his mind to top Tua or Lawrence for the Heisman. It's become a QB award and those two already have established themselves on the national scene.

And a really good stats for QBs is to also have some very good run stats. Receivers arent open then pull it down and run for good yardage and move the chains. The Heisman should be going to the best player, all around, so if a QB has great passing stats, is a winner, can also run for good yards when it counts that helps, and then if they can punt, and also get a couple of throwback passes to them so they have some receiving stats then all the better.

Remember when Charles Woodson from Michigan won the Heisman over Peyton Manning mainly because he was a great Dback, returned punts and maybe kickoffs, played receiver and even ran from scrimmage.

Eno>Taylor IMO. Great moves and quick. Taylor piles up yardage on bad teams and IMO not super impressive.
