WR/CB recruit Emmanuel Rugamba visited Iowa and was very impressed. Iowa now has a good chance at getting him, and I hope he makes the right decision and chooses Iowa. He is 6'1" 175 out of Naperville Illinois. His highlight videos are spectacular. I am so happy that the new facilities are impressing him and other athletes. This bodes well for the future of Iowa Football.

I am certainly not a KF apologist, but what if these new facilities bring about another long term success later ( Perhaps for BB)? KF is getting long in the tooth for sure, and his brand of FB is about as boring as it gets.However, sometimes leaders are in a position to see the forest through the trees where as we as fans aren't. Just food for thought. KF could, in the end have these facilities named after him and live in Hawkeye lore like HF. I hope these last 4 years are a great success, and he rides off into the sunset, but I won't hold my breath.
 
He would be another good one. Top 10 player in Illinois who is playing against some great competition in HS in the western 'burbs. Some speculation he may get an offer from Notre Dame.
 
With this kid committing and the kid leaving the program this week how many spot do we have left and what positions are we after now. Top guys on either line??? Or lb maybe???

Would be nice to get at least one more OL and another DT from the 2016 class.
 
That leaves 3 spots left. On the offensive line I believe that they will get Matt Farniok from Sioux City, or possibly Jauan Williams from Washington DC. The class is pretty good on linebackers.
