Emmanuel Bibbs?

Just wondering. All the ISU tweets are giddy because they got a former Iowa recruit. I follow recruiting fairly closely and this kid does not ring a bell at all and I can't find him on Rivals or Scout showing him as an Iowa commit. The only evidence of him coming to Iowa is that article.
 
I too follow recruiting pretty closely and that name doesn't ring a bell as a former Hawk commit to me either.
 
Very odd. I follow recruiting and had never heard of him. Looks like a good pick up for Rhoads as he had a couple nice offers

Seems like a pretty low rent blog...maybe they meant Iowa State in the first place? Looks like it says right in there that the only other interested school was Wyoming?
 
Also found an article that says this, implying that he actually made it to Iowa "Bogan will have to replace some playmakers from last year including Kareem Adewole (now at Nazarene Olivet), Emmanuel Bibbs (now at Iowa)"
 
I don't remember him either, but ti looks like he was a late commit, maybe even signee(?/!) I found this-
Wide Receiver Emmanuel Bibbs of Bogan signed with the University of Iowa.
I've always had Bibbs on my radar and last summer there was word that Bibbs was getting recruiting interest. But I had no idea that Iowa would finally pull the trigger and make an offer. Apparently, Iowa was impressed by the 6-2, 215lb wide receiver. Other than Iowa and Wyoming, I haven't heard of too many other schools in hot pursuit of Bibbs.

Well as a grayshirt he was at some point going to come to Iowa. For whatever reason it didn't work out. Interesting none the less. Never heard of him. Looks like he bulked up.
