Early odds Ohio State by 15

I'm taking Ohio State and giving the 15. I will be surprised if it isn't far worse. This is by far the best defensive line we have seen. If we cant "break out" against Minnesota how ugly will it be this week? I really think we will be lucky to have 150 yards of offense. Couple that with the fact that we always have trouble with QBs that can run and you really have a recipe for disaster.
Iowa's defense has played hard all year but this is the week no offense may do them in?

Talk about lack of respect Clones are a 3 point underdog. Im not betting against them again
 
Kirk is going to throw all he has at this spread...might even try to pass a few times...I like Iowa to cover at home.

I've been listening to Hawk FB since 1966, watching it since 1978. We are respectable against the blue bloods PSU, Michigan, MSU.

We just don't show well against OSU. I've personally only seen one win vs them, in 2004. I've watched Iowa lose seven other times in person. Hayden did manage to beat them three times in 20 years, but one was a fluke (87). Kirk's only beaten them once.

Their FB program has our number. Call it Karma, call it coaching, call it talent. I call it history. Hope I'm wrong and we don't get embarrassed. My point: I just don't have a good feeling about this one.
 
35-10 OSU. Our history against them is ugly. We upset Michigan and Penn State, but have a good record against them over the last 10-15 years. Our history against OSU though, ugly.
 
It has been over a decade since OSU has blown us out. Granted we have only faced them 3 times over that period.

Yep. Don't be surprised Kirk pulls that dead rabbit out of his pocket instead of the notepad. Then again, they whooped up on us pretty good in 2006, so....
 
If you look at OSU's schedule, they've rolled everyone they've played. Maybe they're due for a stinker. Indiana and Nebraska were the closest thing to a hostile environment. Nebby's fans are a bit beat up. ... so are Iowa's but hey, maybe Kinnick comes a live and creates and edge and Iowa wins against the spread.

I mean...maybe Ohio State overlooks Iowa after coming off that crazy win over PSU? Maybe?

ok not really.
 
With Iowa's history against Ohio State and only Ohio State, my personal opinion is the Iowa players could watch film and come up with a better game plan than the coaches could against OSU this week. And I'm being serious as I can be.

Of course that'd never happen but that's how I see it 8 games into this season.
 
I like what I saw from the Hawks last Saturday. don't be surprised if you see something new in the gameplan against the Buckeyes. This one could be close, but I expect the Hawks to cover and take the over. don't forget to share your winning with me, not like last week.
