Whats yours? I'm pulling for the heat, but I think Big D takes this one in 6. Miami may need another year to iron out all the kinks.
 
Pretty sure the Heat (along with the referees) will take this in 7 games....to max out the amount of exposure and money the NBA can make. Not hating, but just can't imagine the NBA would be happy with the DALLAS MAVERICKS winning. Although the Dirk story is good.....hmmmmmm.
 
Everyone knows the Heat have three really good players and the Mavs move the ball very well and work better as a team on the offensive side. Since it is a team sport, I will go with the Mavs in 6.

Ok i get it, so whoever wins the series is the team that the refs want to win? It took me so long to see it, but i think i do now.
 
I just want to add that I hate a lot of the new NBA rules, especially the way they review now for flagerant fouls? WTF? Also, that Bulls player getting a T for yelling?
 
I could care less anymore. I was hoping for OKC - Chi finals. But for the sake of a prediction I have the Heat in six games.
 
Stern has allowed the Mavs to get this far just so he can have them shut down in the finals and shove it in Cuban's face.
 
If Mavs play any sort of defense I like them in 5 or 6. They are a tough team for the Heat b/c they Heat will have to guard the whole court where they didn't have to do that against the Bulls. The Bulls had zero outside shooters. The Mavs have many outside shooters. Should be a fun series.
 
With both the Western and Eastern Conference Finals going only 5 games I think they'll be a strong push from the David Stern camp to try and get this series to 7 games.
 
Def the Mavs. The Bulls should be up in this series 3-2 right now but they folded under pressure. The Mavs are a veteran club and have way more scoring options than the bulls do. I have the Mavs in 7.
 
The Mavs play solid team defense, but aren't that great individually. The Heat don't use a true center so they will be able to pull Tyson Chandler away from the hoop with Haslem or Bosh. The Heat play much better D than any team the Mavs have played so far. Unless Dirk goes for 50 a night can't see the Mavs winning this one.

OKC could very easily make the same argument.........Anyway the Heat in 6 Lebron & Co. finally make the Mavs look and feel old.

It's not like Tyson Chandler is some force down low. Dirk doesn't need to go for 50. The Mavs aren't the Bulls. They got a lot of quality shooters on that team which will spread the Heat defense a bit. It should be fun to watch

Chandler has been terrific in the playoffs. He's a huge reason why the Mavs have been so good. They have a lot of shooters who will also need to play defense. Good luck going small with Kidd guarding Wade or trying to find someone for Peja or Barea to guard.

Kidd has been guarding Kobe, Durant, and Westbrook all playoffs. I think he will be just fine guarding D Wade.

Chandler has been great but I don't get your comment about Bosh/Haslem pulling him outta the lane. It's no different than what they would have tried to do with Noah and the Bulls
