For whatever reason Duncan has been denied some opportunities and so his longest FG is 28 yards.

Coluzzi has been terrific but I can't justify labeling a kick off specialist and punter the most valuable player.

So far, I'd say Coluzzi or King. Special teams overall has been pretty solid all around.

Duncan needs to be getting more attempts at the longer ones.

King is hands down the mVP right now. Take away his return yards and where woud this offense be? I wish they would think outside the box and use him on offense. Then think of his stellar play on defense.

I may be biased, but would Iowa have won v Rutgers and Minnesota if not for Wadley's two go ahead td's in those? Who else would have stepped up to break one off and make a play on offense in those tight games? Still, can't argue Coluzzi, King and Duncan aren't a huge part of the team's success either.

My votes:

Defensive MVP: King
Offensive MVP: Wadley
Special teams MVP: Coluzzi/King

Agree that Duncan needs to be kicking ALL the field goals. With a name like Duncan does anyone really think he's gonna miss??

There is a reason you seldom hear Kings' name called during a game. Respect? Iowa Hawkeyes MVP!

It breaks my heart he doesn't have an INT or fumble recovery this year. And so close to breaking a return for the end zone. I feel for the guy. I hope the NFL makes the right call on draft day.
