I will get behind whoever they hire. All I expect as a fan is that they make sure they consider all possiblities. I would be disapointed if I find out after the fact they didn't interview guys that were interested in the job like Forbes and Lavin. If they don't at least interview these guys and do not have the quote home run hire then I don't think they can say they did the best they can.

Agree totally. Barta can't force someone to be interested who isn't, but if you at least try, I can respect that. There are several good candidates out there, and if we end up with an underwhelming hire and we find out that there were better options that we didn't even talk to, that's where I would have a problem.

Yep, have to trust Barta on this one. Hope he does enough of an interview plus checking with associates of the candidates to get a good feel of their personalities and whether they are outgoing, engaging, etc. Something he might not have done last time.
