I just found this article when reading about Sorensen committing. Any ideas how the discussion went concerning the decision for the dual tournament determining the National Champion?

I read that a majority of coaches voted in favor of the "concept" of an NCAA-sanctioned national dual champion; however, they didn't achieve the two-thirds majority they hoped for. That's all that I've seen disclosed about this week's meeting.
