Indiana is favored by 19. Cody Zeller is an absolute nightmare matchup for Iowa. Next season will be different story (if Zeller sticks around) with Woodbury and Meyer able to matchup fairly. Plus Indiana is the best 3-point shooting team in Big Ten, SECOND IN THE COUNTRY at 45%. Iowa allowed the worst 3-point shooting team Nebraska at 33% to shoot 55% on Thursday. YIKES!

Just stated the facts. Iowa doesn't matchup well against Indiana, everyone would agree with this. I said next year would be a more fair matchup when Iowa has the height to defend Zeller with Woodbury and Meyer. Also those stats were facts. Not sure the problem.

Just got back from the Drake game. There was only a couple thousand fans there and it was 10 times the environment than CHA is on most nights.
Zeller is not going pro after this year...

I suppose that's fair lol. It's actually kind of an unusual duality. Optimistic when it comes to the Cubs and Iowa basketball, mildly pessimistic regrading Iowa football, and then very pessimistic regarding day-to-day stuff.

Happy for Clones but every Drake victory is just prolongs Phelps leading the program to a slow death.

And Purdue was favored by how much last March? How about Wisconsin a month ago, or Michigan a week ago? I don't give a sh*t about odds unless I'm about to lay down a bet (I'm not, but with a line that large, I'd be taking Iowa to cover). Over their last 5 games, the Hoosiers are 29-81 from behind the arc (36%), and over that span they are 1-4.
Yes, Iowa just allowed the worst 3-point shooting team to shoot 55% the other night. But overall, our defense has been much better than that in conference play. Indiana isn't the same team they were a month ago.
If their cold streak continues, this is definitely a game the Hawks can win.

The problem is you only post when something negative happens to Iowa or if something happens at your favorite school ISU.

Good for Drake. I used to cheer for ISU when they don't play Iowa but the ISU fans I know have since turned into complete a-holes after beating us and okie state. Every ISU fan laughs when we lose so why can't I get enjoyment when they lose?
As for the game today, I don't think we win. I hope we have a respectful showing. I also hope the wrestling can pull their head outta their a$$es
