Draft?

Now that all the decisions have been made, how many Hawkeyes go in this years draft?

Without doing any research, I would think the list goes:

Bulaga: day 1
Spievey: day 2
Angerer: day2-3
Edds: day 2-3
Moeaki: day 3
Callaway: day 3
Richardson: day 3

the only other contributing senior I can think of is Eubanks, and I would bet he gets a camp invite at least.

And Stross I guess, but I don't see him in the NFL.

I would almost bet that Edds goes before Angerer, may depend on their combine. I just think Edds has better cover skills and better overall size. 6'1" for a MLB in the NFL is doable, but its going to be much tougher for Angerer. Is it this year that only round 1 and 2 is considered first day? Not sure the breakout, too lazy to look it up.

Last year round 1 and 2 were day 1 and the rest was day 2. I am pretty sure this year, round 1=day1, round 2 and 3= day two, and round 4,5,6,7=day 3

I am pretty sure this is correct. I saw this list on sporting news:

A combine invite doesn't guarantee that you will be drafted. This is also a preliminary list. No underclassmen and it is still possible for seniors to be invited. I think it is unlikely for anymore of Iowa's seniors to make this list. Bulaga and Spievey will be invited for sure. Iowa leads the Big Ten in invites so far. Only USC and Texas have more and Utah has the same. So much for the class of 2006 flaming out, eh? only Edds wasn't a member.
