Down Goes NDSU

If you are a person who is not over the ndsu game yet or doesn't recognize that a good FCS team can beat a good but not great FBS team, God love ya. It happened. Its over. We beat Nebraska and Michigan. We beat two big rivals in ISU and Minnesota. I think it's time to build that anger bridge and come on over to friendship shore where it's 8-4 degrees and always sunny in Tampa.

This times 1000....I said after that game the streak would end this year...and I for one love it. The NDSU fans I interacted with pre game were jerks...And then post game were even worse.

Have fun in Fargo....it's going to be a long, cold winter...
 
NDSU wasn't all that great this season. Two losses and should have been 3 as UNI had them beat too. Iowa made them look like goll damned heroes in September and that falls squarely on coaches. You play a team like that, you put them 10 feet under in the first half, break their will, and they're done. Iowa didn't do that.

They still had a good year. The run they've had is very difficult to maintain. The flip side is that for an FCS team, beating them is their Super Bowl. Everyone else's game elevates when they plan the Bizon, except for a decent D1 program.
 
Everything broke right for NDSU and they beat us. We had two down on the OL, and our defense was still trying to figure it out. Perfect timing for NDSU and you have to give them credit...their players bring it and play to win. Now, if we were to play NDSU this week or in a Bowl...what do you think the score is? 28-7 is my guess, Iowa.

You remember that one play when all three Ferentz people in the program missed that block? Blame is for coaches AND players.

To the victors go the spoils..head down..get to the car..block out the noise. I usually root for the success of teams that beat us, but I wasn't there. So those of you celebrating the ndsu loss.....I'm sure you have good reasons. I don't care a thing about ndsu and never will again.
