MI didn't look great today. IU showed up to man up stauskis and he did nothing.
Hawks: might want to take notes.

Stauskas was HORRIBLE today. Just stood around; no energy. Maybe the key is just to guard him tough man-to-man and not leave him.
Was he ill?
Naw, can't play when faceguarded. Who from the Hawks can do this to him?
Wow...didn't see. Did they deny him the ball.Smaller, quicker seemed to work. I'd go Gessel and/or Clemons

Most understood that Michigan and Stauskas were hot for 10 games and it wouldn't last all season. Someone just had to break through and bring them back to earth. They can take this loss out on Nebraska Wednesday night and then travel to Iowa City with 1 day less of prep time and lose to the Hawks.
The way things are going in the B1G I would not be surprised to see Nebby play them tough even though it's in Ann Arbor. Nebby will be well rested since they did not play this weekend and they are coming off wins against Minnesota and IU plus they beat OSU the week before … so playing with some confidence.
Exactly. An upset would be great which may create some doubt when they come to Iowa City. But a tough, physical game would be good; just no blowout...please.Nebby usually makes a team work...which is all we need.
That would be funny if it weren't so Iowaesque. I mean, it is funny. But it would be really funny if it weren't so true.Iowa wins the next two at home...both huge games...we are back in this race. I'm thinking it sets up this way as that would be the typically heart ripping Hawkeye experience when we then lose at Penn State the following game.
Yeah, total denial where whoever was guarding him did not help out much if at all with other players.
