Doug Thomas was better than May. On offense he wasn't great but he could defend and rebound. He's also bigger than May. I don't really agree with the comparison at all the more I think about it.

I would love to see him make the team. I loved that guy.

If only Doug Thomas would have had one more year at Iowa. He improved so much over the two years he was here and would have made the Smith-Haluska team into a solid NCAA tourney team.

not the same player, but the same type, a role player. i think may would actually be much better on a good team where he could just be what he is and not expected to do much else.
