Who’s laughing? I agree. Giving up 3?? yards when you are on the field the whole game, and 4 TOs. Offense laid the turd. BF did not have a good day.but I thought the D played reasonably well.
they did... 14 pts at least off our turnovers that I can remember.
Stanley and the receiver core was just dreadful.
At least on Monday, for me their lives have to be living hell for the level of play they exhibited today.
Receivers that can't catch a inaccurate QB with no touch.
They didn't look like scholarship players today.
As a whole the defense was good, but not great. Jackson was all-world, but Rugamba struggled, and Bower too often played with his eyes and lost track of his assignments. The safeties were feast or famine. Overall, though, you certainly can't blame the defense for this loss.
When you're on the field that long your going to give up points. One of their drives started at like the 28 or of Iowa. Their average starting position had to be in our territory. Our defense played very well.
The defense couldn't get off the field either. Hard to say they played very well when they couldn't get off the field.
I sat with a bunch of Wisconsin fans and they had a lot of respect for our defense. 14 points speak for itself. Believe me the Badger fans were dishing on their offense all night. You simply can't ask a defense to play an entire game and not wear down in the 4th quarter. Jewel and the linebackers were drawing ooo's and aaa's from the crowd all night. The offense and punting game were drawing laughs.
Oh trust me, I'm not defending the offense. They definitely win the "who's worse" contest. But that doesn't mean the defense played good.true. But they caused 4 turnovers and scored on 2 it is not too much to ask to give you something on offense.
Yeah. I think the running back for Wisky had over 100 yards in the FIRST HALF. Yet, dolts still think Iowa has a good defense. Did you see the pizz poor pass defense technique by, I think, Rugamba on the Wisky TD play in the second half?Maybe you should check out the yards per rush stat. Our defense was only "not bad" if you compare them to our offense.
Couldn’t disagree more actually. Wisconsin dominated in time of possession because our offense was so terrible and couldn’t stay on the field. No team in the country is going to be able to hold up against Wisconsin if they are asked to stay on the field for nearly 40 minutes.Maybe you should check out the yards per rush stat. Our defense was only "not bad" if you compare them to our offense.
So did I. They accounted for 14 points. Did what they could considering they were on the field the majority of the game.but I thought the D played reasonably well.
