A friend had an extra ticket to the UNI game so I decided to see this UNI team in person. UNI faced a not so very good Toledo team that lost to Loyola earlier in the year. Boy did UNI struggle on defense tonight. A lot of open shots & a lot of open layups. UNI doesn't have a great penetration attack on offense either (Anthony James didn't play due to suspension). They had one baller in Deon Mitchell who dropped 27 on 8-11 fgs. He was the only one who could get by the Toledo defense & at times made the Toledo defenders look stupid with some nice ball handling skills. Everyone else played pick and pop on the 3pt line. I think Iowa matches up well against this UNI team and hopefully they can take this one in D.M.
