I think Jacobsen is a good coach but don't be fooled by this season and run the the big dance. This is the first time in 20 years they UNI had won a game. The main reason for this run is more to the fact that this is a senior heavy team that has been thru a lot together and less to do with Jacobsen coaching. This team almost killed themselves by not being able to break a press. After the UNLV game you would have thought they would have addressed that, but they looked lost trying to handle that pressure. I blame the coach. I think this team is great and couldwin another game or two if they can take care of the ball.

One run no matter how big does not translate into a winning program year after year. Pearl has been to the sweet 16 3 of the last 4 years. Don't think I am slamming Jacobsen Iowa needs a miracle to turn this thing around and Jacobsen just worked his.
 
Another thing. He losses a lot of key guys next year. Will he be able to prove his ability with out those guys? Will this year be a one hit wonder?
 
How many more Jacobson threads do we need?

Ok, I get the point most of you don't want Jacobson here. Let's hope he doesn't end up in Minnesota.
 
Agree. He did a great job the last two days. We need s program builder, not a coach that just won a couple of close games that could have gone either way. IF KU does want Bill Self because his team lost, I will take him.
