This is a criticism of the coach and not the kid - I love the hustle of McCabe and I think we get about everything out of him we can expect but seriously he should never be in the game when things are on the line.

Lets be honest here. When should he be on the court? Jok should be getting more time than him. He nearly singlehandedly lost this game. Terrible, terrible defense, poor rebounding and awful decision making on offense.
I get it that he tries hard and is an effort guy and all. But he is a major liability on the court at all times.

Why hasn't Jok been getting more time? I know he makes mistakes but who doesn't? He needs to get more experience to improve his talent. Leave him on the bench to long Fran and you may see you first defection. The kid showed on the trip to Europe that he can put the ball in the hoop and it seems that there are times we are lacking this skill. Yes his defense needs work but this too comes with experience. Maybe next year with Marble gone he will get his chance but if he doesn't I would be surprised if he stays with team when a lot of schools would be happy to have him.
