Does this offseason finally bring us changes in game management?

We're not going to see a spread, and we're not going to become blitzburgh, and I'm fine with both of those.

But is this the year where KF finally looks in the mirror and sees what he left on the field with his own egregious game management errors and makes a commitment to one way or another not allow this to hurt the team anymore?

I don't want new coordinators or new schemes, I want our head coach to prepare himself as well as he prepares his players.

The fact that he can't or won't is going to SIGNIFICANTLY TARNISH his legacy at Iowa.

End. Of. Story.

No.

In this coaching staff's mind they don't believe anything is wrong, just lack of execution.

We will see the same problems next year with JV at QB. Delay of games, poor timeout usage, odd subs, and a pro style offense that plays dink and dunk, but teaches the QB's to be ultra safe with the deep pass, usually leading to passes overthrown or way off target.

On defense we'll continue to put less than athletic LB's in space and expect them to play like Edds or Greenway.

So, no i don't see anything changing. How hard would it be to at least fix the 2 min offense? Yet we've seen the same mistakes every year.

The only change that may happen is naming a new DC

JV has shown no ability to read and react to the blitz. He sucked in any instance when the other team blitzed. Everybody saw this, they are going to pin their ears back and destroy him.

The only change in strategy will have to come as a result of Norm doing the decent thing for the sake of the players.
