Where do you see that on the BB board? I don't see much bashing of the BB team at all. If you suxxxxxs as bad as they do at football, the bashing is both expected and deserved.
Your delicate ISU sensitivity is pretty funny.....

Yep, football team is playing...and their season hasn't been a dumpster fire like last year...plus we have played no one. I think Jon tweeted this AM, Iowa has played the 5th weakest schedule out of all 300 some division 1 teams.
When we start playing people with a pulse...that will tell us something about this team good or bad.

You miss the point completely. That post wasn't a commentary on the bashing of ISU. The OP stated the board seemed dead, and as you and atomic have illustrated there is really no better way to increase participation or activity than to make some kind of ISU reference.

Something to get pumped about? Well, I know it's on weak competition but, as of now, we are first or second in nearly every statistical team category in the B1G conference. One in which we aren't 1st or second is 3pt%, but in that one we have a respectable 36% for the year.

I think part of the problem is that ISU has been so bad in football this year that even the Clone trolls have realized Rhodes' tenure is quickly turning into a dumpster fire and they have nothing to argue there. But after the basketball team's good win yesterday, you are already seeing many of them return so that should account for an uptick in posting volume.

God, that team we played yesterday looked less like a college team then some Iowa high school teams do and Iowa high school basketball isn't that great. Tough to tell how good we are when your players are all a foot taller than players on the other team.

Exactly. There's not a whole lot to talk about following a 62 point win over a cupcake.. It's nice to see but also doesn't mean a lot since these are games we expect to win pretty comfortably. I suspect talk will pick up during the Battle for Atlantis, the UNI/ISU games, The B10/ACC challenge, and especially once conference play starts.

I'm still a little bit skeptical of their 3 point shooting...We'll see what happens when an actual team with some talent/athletes tries to zone or pack it in and force Iowa to beat them from outside.
Atlantis should be some sort of an indicator of this team.

Even if we're not hitting the threes (I actually think we will) I still think we'd draw a lot of fouls by attacking in that scenario.
