Does attendance go up, down or stay same next season?

We will revisit this poll when the new coach is hired but given the legs these 3 MSU Izzo assistants is getting and the Barbee non-talk thought I'd ask the question now.

It's easy to imagine if Pearl was hired attendance would skyrocket but this isn't happening.

If someone like Tony Barbee would get hired I could see attendance remain about the same

So if Jim Boylen from Utah is hired, he seems like the frontrunner now, how is attendance affected? He is a former Izzo assistant and has compiled a 56-42 overall record as a head coach (3 years at Utah). Just finished this season with a 14-17 record.

I've thrown in a few thoughts but feel free to throw in your thoughts on how attendance would fair with certain coaches. I'd like to revist this poll after the hiring.

I say it depends greatly on not only the new coach but how successful they are at marketing the new coach as well as his system and philosophies. The incoming freshmen are solid recruits, but none are Harrison Barnes-level athletes that will draw big crowds.

I think there would be slightly higher attendance only to speak to the curiosity factor. If we start quick in the non-conference (as we almost always should), there might at least start a heartbeat on some buzz that could be generated going into conference play.

I voted goes down slightly because I have a bad feeling Jim Boylen is Barta's guy now. And this will dissappoint many fans and create ZERO excitement.
