If you're an Iowa fan, you want Michigan to win handly, and for Denard Robinson to have what seems to be his typical 200-200 yard performance against MSU (kid is an absolute freak, huh?). You don't want him limping into the Iowa game, because you want your front 4/5 to show the nation that kid can be stopped. You don't want a possible win against Michigan dulled because they are "bruised up" do you (you'd never hear the end of it from the national pundits. On the flipside, the nation wouldn't hear the end of it if Iowa can stop him)??
If Iowa can beat Michigan with DR at 100%, probably puts you right back in the conversation.
Just my opinion, I guess, but that's what I would want if ISU was in the same position.
I think we want MSU in this one. I honestly think we our out of the NT race (too much going against us and an offensive coaching strategy that will not allow for it). We want wins (we obviously aren't going to do it very sexy if we have the chance and it is not required of us) so we want Michigan emotionally down for our game. We get MSU at home, so that should be an advantage to us.
Take MSU in this one. We need the best possible chance to get wins in the Big Ten so we can win the conference and get to the Rose Bowl.
From a national perspective, Mich would be a bigger win because well there Mich and they have a heisman candidate.
I'm rooting for Michigan, because MSU has an easy schedule after they play Iowa. If MSU beats Michigan, there is a good chance that Iowa would be there only loss and thus could knock us out of the Big 10 race if we have two losses.
If we have two losses we have no shot at the Big Ten title anyway, IMO. I doubt OSU, Wisconsin, or MSU will lose 3 games in conference. My opinion is based on the assumption that we run the table from this point onward.
